My Experience

The most rewarding and challenging experiences of my 30+ year career in IT

Chief Systems Architect & Research Officer

My journey in the IT industry began as an employee, where I gained invaluable experience working on complex technology projects.

By 1995, driven by a vision to create innovative software solutions, I decided to forge my own path and founded iBS, specializing in business software and enterprise solutions.

Over the years, I led numerous high-impact projects, including system integration for the Greek European Presidency’s press center in 2003 and software development initiatives for major organizations like Bosch, Athens International Airport, and DHL.

In 2017, I implemented the speaker registration and electronic voting system for the Hellenic Parliament—one of the most rewarding challenges of my career.

In 2019, I took on the role of Project Coordinator and System Designer for RiSK4SEA, shaping its initial design and development. In 2024, I transitioned to Chief Technology Officer (CTO), spearheading its technological strategy and ongoing evolution

Since 2020, I have been guiding the team for FOMCS, focusing on project execution and the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Meanwhile, I continue to develop my personal projects, including informix.gr, a platform dedicated to providing insights on informatics topics in Greek, and WEDEVA, a development team specializing in process automation, web scraping, data pipelines, and Python hosting solutions.
